Recently widowed police detective, Liam Kincaid is a man on a mission, trying to track down a killer in the sleepy town of Serenity Hills. While citizens of this small town are convinced the murderer is a total stranger, Liam suspects the killer is someone in their midst, possibly a member of the Serenity Hills Chorus. 

 

Schoolteacher, Hannah Larsen, thwarts Liam Kincaid’s efforts at every turn, convinced the new hotshot detective has it all wrong. Just because someone doesn’t get the lead solo in a musical performance or gets scolded for singing with too much vibrato doesn’t make them a killer! Or does it!  At the exact moment this amateur sleuth begins putting the pieces of the puzzle together, she finds herself staring down the barrel of a gun.
